Nightlife in Southport/Oak Island/Bald Head, NC

Nightlife in Southport is mostly centered around the restaurants and their lounges as well as a few bars. During the summer season you will find some outdoor concerts. In downtown Southport you can participate in First Friday Gallery Walks year round. There is also a movie theater and a theater that produces plays, music and comedy.

The nightlife on Oak Island, NC consists mostly of restaurants, pubs and bars, however there is an ABC Store on the island where you can purchase your own liquor. The nearest movie theater is located a few miles away in Southport. The Oak Island Recreation Department offers free outdoor family themed movies on a regular basis during the tourist season.
