Price Code

In reviewing hotel choices in Southport you will find pricing to be about the same for all of them. What you may want to consider are location and amenities. If you want to stay near downtown Southport and enjoy water views a good choice would be the locally owned Riverside Motel. If you want more amenities and prefer to be closer to the shopping centers you might choose the Hampton Inn Southport. You will find a larger price discrepancy in the hotels on Oak Island and all of them are locally owned. You will find that Captain's Cove Motel is within walking distance of shopping and restaurants while the Ocean Crest Motel is the only one located directly on the beach. Since prices are subject to change without notice, we provide only price guidelines based on double-occupancy, per-night rates during the summer (high season). Our codes do not reflect the 7 percent state/county and 1 to 6 percent room occupancy taxes (taxes may vary by county or municipality). Most establishments offer lower rates during the off-season. Always confirm rates and necessary amenities before reserving. It may also be beneficial to inquire about corporate, senior citizen, AAA or long-term discounts even when such discounts are not mentioned in our descriptions. Most establishments accept major credit cards, and some accept personal checks when payment is made well in advance.
