Winding River Players, Inc. is a non-profit organization made up of a group of talented actors, singers, dancers, directors, writers, musicians, designers and other artists. The mission of Winding River Players, Inc. is to enrich, educate and entertain. Founded in 2002 by Sue MacCallum, what began as a group of nine ladies at inception has evolved to more than 100 men and women including the production crew. Members share a love of the theater and a desire to spread this love to others through the performing arts and educational projects. The group is committed to enriching the lives of those in the Winding River Community and in Brunswick County through the presentation of quality performing arts programs. In addition to performing in Winding River Plantation, the group performs at schools, long-term care facilities and charitable events throughout Brunswick County through their Outreach Program.
