February 19 - March 26, 2020 - The US Coast Guard Auxiliary offers a fourteen-session Boating Skills and Seamanship course every Wednesday and Thursday from 7 PM - 9 PM. These courses are held at the Brunswick County EMS Headquarters, 40 Naber Drive, Shallotte and provide general information on selecting and registering a boat, training in seamanship and boating skills for owners of all recreational watercraft including all power boats, PWC, sailboats, and paddle craft. Topics included are navigation, weather, rules of the road, radios, boat handling and trailering and more. Call for more information. The course fee is $45.
