February 15, 2020  The Run Oak Island event will begin at 6:45 AM and will include a 5K, Half Marathon, Full Marathon races as well as a 1-mile fun run/walk, which will begin at 9:00 AM. Runners will earn the first piece of the World's Largest Race Series Medal in the BAM! Race Series. All race finishers will receive a lightweight, running trucker hat along with a beach ball "Sun-Catcher" style finishers medal. An awards ceremony and a party will be held after the race in Middleton Park. Proceeds  will benefit a number of Non-Profits throughout Brunswick County as well as the American Red Cross. Call 910 278-5518 for more information.
