Winner of Southport Magazine’s 2017 “Best place to buy Indoor and Outdoor Art”, Thom Seaman and Linda Platt are finding that the ARTSHAK STUDIO & GALLERY has been more successful than they ever imagined. Incredible artists seeking representation seem to find them every week. They wish they had room for them all. Their beautiful building allows for the presentation of unique items that are unavailable elsewhere nearby. This results in a hands-on experience much to the delight of those who visit. With more than 20 talented jewelry artists they have offerings from just $12 to $1500. The pottery, the likes of which is rarely available, ranges from $12 to $2500. Blown and fused glass, sculpture of metal, stone and clay, beautiful hand-made fabrics including exceptional clothing, woven pine needle baskets, and very special stone lamps are available. Of course, wonderful paintings in multiple mediums by outstanding local and regional artists adorn the walls. Their success is due to the fact that most everyone who has an opportunity returns again and again. They are truly blessed with the best clients they could ever dream of. As always, they are available for custom work whether it be metal sculpture, paintings or jewelry. As one client recently said, "We have been traveling and visiting galleries from Savannah and Charleston, and yours is the best of them all!" They strive to offer an experience not expected in a small coastal gallery and they believe they are succeeding in this regard.
